Exciting things are happening with YiES this year. We are involved with several familiar events and some new events to this year. First off there are the traditional YiES trainings with a new twist this year. Rather than the traditional YiES disaster information sessions taught by adults, we are working on making a more interactive YiES training in which it will be Peer-to-Peer learning. This year in addition to the YiES trainings, we have "Cause for Alarm", a program in which we deliver fire alarms and fire safety pamphlets to high risk
communities in Orange Country. And last but not least, every third Wednesday of the month, there will be YiES Meetings, everybody is welcome at these meetings so try to attend!

The next YiES meeting will be on November 14, from 6-8 PM. We will be discussing the upcoming YiES training which will be on Novmber 17 and 18. So don't miss it!
