Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) No one expects a disaster or an accident to strike, but we know it is inevitable. YEP is a program that empowers and prepares youth in life-saving skills such as CPR, first aid, fire and earthquake preparedness and traffic safety. This FREE program can be presented in health and science class, or as an after-school program. Please contact the youth services department at (714) 481-5300 or e-mail at youth@oc-redcross.org if you are interested in having this program at your organization.

Youth Making Challenging Choices (Y=MC2) is a training that can be taught to middle school students in several sessions. The training is held at a hosting school site within Orange County school districts or community based organization. They learn valuable information that pertains to themselves that make them unique as an individual. The training's consist of interactive activities that can relate to problem solving, communication skills, group dynamics, and/or value identification. All of these skills are valuable to youth that want to accomplish their lifetime goals. If you are interested in learning more about this FREE program for your school or organization, please contact the youth services department at (714) 481-5300 or e-mail at youth@oc-redcross.org.
